Silver Spurs Ranch

Silver Spurs Ranch is one of the best selling ranches in Huerfano County due to its gentle terrain and open, expansive, breathtaking views of the Sangre de Cristos, Spanish Peaks, and Greenhorn Mountains. With approximately 6,000-7,000 total acres and, at an elevation of 6300-6800 feet, it is peaceful and secluded, though only minutes from town. The tree coverage here is predominately cedar and pinion. You'll find lots of deer, antelope, and an occasional black bear. Many of the parcels are ideal for horses as this was once a large working cattle ranch before subdividing. Nearby Walsenburg has a small hospital and a dialysis center as well as that quaint, old mountain town atmosphere. Lathrop State Park is just down the street and provides many recreational activities to complement local lifestyles.
